Phillip J. Bartell

Editor (ACE) and director

Phillip J. Bartell is a Los Angeles-based editor and director. He is a member of the American Cinema Editors society (ACE), and has edited a number of films and television series, including Disney’s newly released Haunted Mansion, Netflix’ To All The Boys I Loved Before (2018), Bad Hair (2020), Miss You Already (2015), both the feature film (2014) and TV series adaptation (2017 - 2021) of Dear White People. He was the editor of season one of  Skam Austin (2018) and took over as director for its second season in 2019. He also directed the queer feature film Eating Out 2: Sloppy Seconds (2006), which screened at Skeive filmer.
